Job Overview

As part of the Enterprise Corporate Sales (ECS) 360 team, you will sell to government customers across the Italy region. You will grow and manage large Local Government Public Sector accounts, partnering with our Strategic Account Executives to evangelize the Salesforce vision and generate transactional growth. You will leverage the core Data & AI suite of our Citizen 360 platform, including Core, Digital, Mulesoft, Tableau and Slack offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Create and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities
  • Manage the end‑to‑end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources (Solution Engineers, Professional Services, Marketing, Partners, etc.)
  • Contribute to account and sector strategy planning
  • Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face‑to‑face meetings
  • Organize and manage industry events and user groups
  • Build campaigns to target new business growth
  • Ensure forecast hygiene and accuracy
  • Generate new ideas to improve overall business performance
Qualifications

  • Previous exposure to the Italian public sector market
  • A large appetite for personal development
  • Passion for public sector and motivation to change the world with technology
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to build trust across internal and customer stakeholders
  • Proven experience of quota‑carrying sales and account management experience, preferably in the technology industry
  • Successful history of new‑business sales, with consistent delivery against revenue targets
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles
  • Previous sales methodology training, CRM experience and strong customer references
  • Knowledge and experience of the public sector
  • Fluency in English and Italian required
  • University degree or equivalent through experience
  • Office‑flexible presence required; role based in Salesforce Rome office
