He/she defines the architecture and functionalities of a TC&IS System - PACIS, CCTV, Infotainment, Internet on Board, Train to Ground Communication - in compliance with Customer requirements.
He/she ensures the integration of the on-board equipment into the vehicle.
He/she ensures the integration of the on-board system with the ground bases.
He/she operates under the supervision of the TC&IS Domain Leader.
His/her network is composed byPrEM (Project Engineering Manager), TSE (Train System Engineer), TCE (Train Control Engineer), TEE (Train Electrical Engineer), Interior Engineer, RAMS Engineer, Certification Engineer, Validation Engineer, Other Domain System Engineers, Procurement and Buyers.
The System Engineer is accountable for delivering the subsystem documentation such as RSAD (Requirement Specification and Architecture Description), TPS (Technical Purchase Specification), Network Addressing Plan, ICD (Interface Control Document), Test Specifications.
