Job Description : Job Purpose :

To manage the day-to-day office operations, import/export transportation (both domestic and international) functions. The aim of this position is to ensure all shipments are efficiently processed, recovered, and dispatched on time to meet customer schedules. The position includes managing all aspects of operational employees, from their performance to assisting with their personnel files. It also involves creating formal relationships with subcontractors, handling facilities, and maintaining clear communication with other departments within the country offices and international offices.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Reporting to the Regional Director, this person will be responsible for managing the (Country) Operations function successfully.
  • Improve staff cross-training and development.
  • Help reduce fixed costs and increase gross margin by establishing cost-efficient routes, negotiating with providers, and controlling facility/utility costs.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (OPS, CS, HR, IT, and Finance) through operational improvements and coordination between support and business functions.
  • Participate in long-term planning initiatives aimed at operational excellence.
  • Oversee overall operational management, planning, systems, and controls.
  • Manage the operational budget in coordination with the Regional Director.
  • Manage external agencies relevant to (Country) operations.
  • Improve operational systems, processes, and policies to support the organization's mission, including management reporting, information flow, and organizational planning.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations.

  • Experience in budget development and oversight.
