Competenze

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, planning, or supply chain roles.
  • Experience in production planning, material planning, procurement, and supply chain roles.
  • Familiarity with lean principles and inventory optimization.

Position Summary

The Planning Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and components while ensuring optimal inventory levels to support production schedules and for coordinating production and material planning activities to ensure timely delivery of connector products and focuses on balancing demand and supporting efficient production scheduling in alignment with customer requirements and company objectives.

This role combines purchasing and planning activities to maintain supply continuity, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and capacity constraints.
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Responsible for managing the procurement of materials and components while ensuring optimal inventory levels to support production schedules.
  • Analyze supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Resolve supply issues and delays concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders & delivery schedule.
  • Ensure availability of raw materials and components for connector assembly.
Position Requirements
Experience
  • Experience in production planning, material planning, procurement and supply chain roles (preferably in manufacturing).
Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Other Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, planning, or supply chain roles.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and planning best practices is a plus.
  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Familiarity with lean principles and inventory optimization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of English language.
Demand & Capacity Analysis
  • Analyze demand trends and align production capacity accordingly.
  • Identify bottlenecks internal and external and propose solutions to optimize throughput.
Inventory Management
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
  • Support cycle counting and inventory accuracy initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Production and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate planning & procurement updates and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Prepare planning & procurement reports and KPIs for management review.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects to enhance planning and procurement efficiency.
