The Opportunity

We’re expanding our Milan team and looking for an experienced Ocean Import / Export Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced international environment. This role is ideal for a logistics professional who takes ownership, communicates with precision, and ensures every shipment moves flawlessly from origin to destination.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will :

• Coordinate ocean freight shipments with suppliers, customers, carriers, and trucking partners.
• Prepare, review, and validate all required import / export documentation.
• Manage rate negotiations, quotations, and bookings to meet customer expectations and internal performance goals.
• Track and monitor shipments, resolving issues quickly while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Partner with internal teams and global service centers to ensure efficient, seamless operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience : Minimum 3 years in ocean, air, or international logistics operations.
• Mindset : Detail-driven, proactive, solutions-oriented, and accountable.
• Skills : Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Technical : Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CargoWise is a strong plus.
• Languages : Fluency in English REQUIRED ; additional European languages are an advantage.
