You will manage cabling projects, troubleshoot network issues, and collaborate with diverse teams to ensure effective operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in cabling troubleshooting and project management, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Key Job Responsibilities
  • Manage work and priorities through ticketing system
  • Manage small to large cabling projects within the data centers.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
  • Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low to mid-level application interaction.
  • Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
  • Participate in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
  • Experience dealing with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong prioritization and time management ability.
  • Able to lift / move up to 15kg regularly with 2 persons or equipment support.
A Day in the Life

You will be responsible for the scaling and physical deployment of new data center network infrastructure. As part of that team, the Network Scaling Lead will be primarily tasked with managing small to large cabling projects and deployment activities within the data centers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly motivated individual with a willingness to learn and up-skill. The candidate must be able to perform repetitive tasks and adhere to standard processes and best practices. Candidates will be working in a team environment and must be able to communicate and promote cross-team functionality.

Basic Qualifications
  • Project management experience or supervisory experience. Experience with document writing.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal showing strong attention to detail and high quality standards.
  • Bachelor in Computer Science; or Certification in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA) and up to 2+ years of cabling troubleshooting and repair experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience dealing effectively with customers and contractors during problem resolution, and operating efficiently under pressure.
  • Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CITY & GUILDS Cabling cert or equivalent). Previous experience working in a Data Center environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management).
  • Extensive project management experience or supervisory experience. Experience with document writing.
  • Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
