Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a fast‑paced technology company and a leader in data centers. We are expanding our network deployment team and look for a proven technology manager with people management experience, robust technical understanding, and the drive and vision to take AWS data centers to the next level. The successful candidate will create sustainable processes and standards to reduce delivery cycle times and improve quality without impacting network availability.

The mission of the team is to deliver network capacity on time with zero rework. The Network Deployment Manager will manage the implementation and delivery of inbound capacity and equipment, oversee a growing team, and ensure installation and delivery of network equipment and related infrastructures, including driving low‑voltage structured cabling across the Amazon data center platform.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Manage a team of technicians responsible for installation and deployment of new network systems and projects.
• Prioritize and assign tasks to data center technicians and operators, provide coaching, and create documentation.
• Manage inbound capacity from receiving through deployment stages.
• Manage the installation, network, and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment.
• Guide, train, and educate staff on best practices related to all service owner issues.
• Manage tasks and deliverables across small to large‑sized projects.
• Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and required SLAs.
• Coordinate team resources for project and delivery needs, including emergency projects, change management, maintenance windows, off‑hours, and on‑call support.
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Drive compliance to Amazon performance management requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience.
• 2+ years of management/team lead function experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of cabling best practices.

The base salary range for this position is $78,400.00 – $137,300.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
