Midsummer Italia is now preparing to start up the production facility in Bari and are currently looking for 6 Machine operators.

Job description

The daily work involves handling automated and semi-automated machines to produce the outer layer on solar cells. The module production tasks include soldering solar cells with high precision. After initial training on all machines, you will be responsible for scheduling, maintenance, and servicing of machinery, overseeing the installation of machinery and equipment, and eventually training team members on proper operation procedures. It is important to take responsibility and work independently after training.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience as a machine operator in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma; a post ITS (Istituto tecnico superiore) diploma is a plus
• Experience in machine maintenance
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and their interdependencies
• Knowledge of engineering and technical information
• Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach
• Minimum B2 level of English
