Objective

The Marketing Assitant will support BYD Italy’s Marketing Department, with responsibilities including the localization of marketing materials, coordination of payment processes, support for marketing events, and provision of day-to-day administrative assistance.

This role requires frequent communication with BYD Europe headquarters and BYD Headquarters in China; therefore, strong cross-cultural adaptability and excellent communication skills are essential. The role requires a proactive, flexible mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Chinese is mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with BYD Europe and China headquarters to ensure marketing materials are localized and tailored to the Italian market;
  • Handle internal and external payment processes and liaise with the Finance Department to ensure timely settlement;
  • Support and execute various marketing events, including event preparation, supplier communication, and on-site support;
  • Provide daily marketing and administrative support, completing diverse tasks assigned by the department to ensure efficient team operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or administrative support;
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, able to work independently without the need for micromanagement;
  • Adaptable to changing processes and shifting priorities;
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail;
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with strong customer focus;
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Chinese and Italian;
  • Knowledge of the Italian business environment and cultural context.
