Who we are looking for

Manager - Data & AI Architect

We are looking for an experienced Data & AI Architect to design, implement, and evolve enterprise data platforms and AI-driven architectures across multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data engineering, analytics, and cloud technologies , with hands‑on experience across the full data lifecycle — from ingestion and modeling to AI / ML enablement.

You will act as a technical leader in complex projects, guiding cross-functional teams, engaging directly with clients, and shaping solutions that integrate structured and unstructured data into robust, scalable architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Architect and design end-to-end Data and AI solutions across Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
• Lead the definition and modeling of data flows (ETL / ELT, streaming, batch) for ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
• Define and implement data governance, quality, and security frameworks (e.g., lineage, cataloging, compliance).
• Collaborate with clients to collect business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable data architectures.
• Supervise and manage technical teams, providing mentorship and ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
• Support AI and ML enablement by providing reliable, high-quality data pipelines for model training and operationalization.
• Drive the migration and modernization of legacy DWH and Big Data systems toward modern data lakehouse platforms.
• Lead proofs of concept (PoCs) and solution assessments for data and AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud Engineering teams to optimize CI / CD and data orchestration (Airflow, Composer, Jenkins).

Technical Stack :

• Cloud Platforms : Azure, AWS or Google.
• Big Data & Processing : Databricks, Spark (PySpark, Scala), Cloudera CDP, Hive / Impala, Kafka.
• ETL & Data Integration : Talend, Informatica PowerCenter, SAP Data Services, Oozie, Airflow.
• Databases : Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, SQL Server, BigQuery.
• Languages : SQL, PL / SQL, Python, PySpark, Shell scripting, Java, Scala.
• Tools & Frameworks : Docker / Kubernetes, Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins.

Qualifications :

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, BI, and Big Data environments.
• Proven experience designing data lake / data warehouse / lakehouse architectures.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL / ELT design, and real‑time data integration.
• Solid knowledge of AI & Machine Learning enablement within data ecosystems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Certifications in Azure Data Engineer, Cloudera, Talend, or AWS / GCP Data are highly desirable.

Nice to Have :

• Experience in data science and predictive modeling (e.g., SageMaker, Databricks ML).
• Familiarity with streaming analytics and event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pub / Sub).
• Exposure to data mesh, governance frameworks, and metadata management tools.
