Driven by our continuous growth, for our manufacturing location in Bressana, Bottarone (PV), we are searching for a Quality Manager who will support the development of the business and the improvement of the quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and systems to ensure product consistency and compliance
• Ensure overall compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Manage customer service quality, ensuring prompt response to complaints, implementing corrective actions, and improving overall customer satisfaction
• Oversee supplier quality by working closely with vendors to ensure compliance with specifications and continuous improvement
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances
• Define and track quality metrics related to the cost of non-quality and customer satisfaction to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance quality and efficiency
• Train plant personnel on quality procedures, fostering a culture of quality and compliance

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; relevant experience in a similar role may be considered in place of formal education
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management role within manufacturing environment
• Proven hands-on experience with ISO, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies
• QHSE knowledge is beneficial
• Proficiency in business English and Italian
• Proficient in MS Office tool set, with advanced knowledge of Excel
• You are enthusiastic and self-motivated
• You are capable of independently pursuing assigned objectives with a good level of autonomy, while effectively involving and coordinating with colleagues and managers
• You are hands-on, result- and customer-oriented and have a strong sense of commitment and urgency
• You are well-organized, able to prioritize and get things done
• You have analytical skills and have a fact-based approach
• You are able to communicate, interact and adapt to all levels in the organization (having the big picture in mind while still able to work on details)
• You have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

Job Conditions

• The role requires occasional spot travelling throughout Europe for short missions
• Contract type - CNLL (Collective National Contract for mechanical compartment employees) reporting to the plant managing director
• Office-based in Bressana, Bottarone (PV)
