About the Role

The resource will be part of the Region Italy Procurement Team taking care assigned packaging categories by carrying out the activities of Purchase Request Control, de-risking project support, cross-category analysis.

Main Responsibilities

• SOURCING MANAGEMENT — guarantees compliance with requirements to ensure business continuity through SRM, order database management, scouting of new suppliers if required, proposal of allocation quotas to central procurement, in compliance with the strategy but functional to requests and needs line.
• OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT — control and intervention on the correctness of the specifications in order and relative consistency of operating codes and aggregate codes on which the valuation of the purchased item depends and its variance with respect to the budget.
• PURCHASING MANAGEMENT — control of compliance with the on-time in full by suppliers, management of the expected service level through analysis on the progress of the campaign, on the trend of obsolescences (control on tolerances). Participation in alignment meetings with the functions involved on priority and/or strategic projects for the group for which ad hoc retro-timing is built with counseling activities on emergency supply management.
• NEGOTIATION — operational support for negotiation with suppliers, through the preparation of reports and analysis of campaign performance and data. For local items: management and preparation of RFQ for new items and benchmark analysis for assignment.
• BUDGET — support central categories for data analysis and control. For local categories, RFQ sending and feedback analysis.
• SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT — support and participation in business reviews and ad hoc meetings for critical issues or projects requested by the company; management of forecasts on items deemed strategic and critical (e.g. estathe cans, glass supply collaboration).

Who we are looking for

• A graduate in Business Management, Economy or equivalent
• Experienced in team working, problem solving and criticalities management
• Attention to details and strong proactivity
• Knowledgeable about Microsoft Office (advanced Excel)
• SAP experience will be considered a plus
• Experienced in international companies with central HQ / Service company
• Proficiency in English. Other languages will be considered as a plus (Italian, German, Spanish, etc.)
• A person available for international mobility
