A marine engineering company in Milan seeks an experienced Installation and Marine Operation Engineer to ensure the technical integrity of marine structures and comply with international standards. This role requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience. Excellent English communication skills are essential. This is a full-time onsite position within the oil and gas sector.

Job Title: Installation and Marine Operation Engineer

On-site/ Remote/ Hybrid: Onsite

Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Overall technical integrity of marine structures design premises, design and marine structure behavior.
• Marine structure compliance with international standards, company guidelines and engineering best practices.
• Accuracy of marine structures cost and schedule estimates.

Key Activities

• Define design premises of onshore structures.
• Define and specify met oceanographic surveys and/or studies.
• Define internal design of offshore structures relevant to marine behavior of structures.
• Supervise subcontracted marine design of structures.
• ITT preparation and bid evaluation.
• Planning, reviewing and following up structure transportation and installation.
• Estimating structure costs and schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Work experience of ten (10) years in the field of the sought discipline after earning the BSc degree.
• Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write specifications and reports.
