Akronos Technologies, a leading Italian company in hi‑tech engineering innovation and services, is looking for an Electro‑Optical System Engineer. As an Electro‑Optical System Engineer you will be involved in key engineering R&D activities for specific defence applications. You will support / manage all activities to ensure technical, regulatory, scheduling and cost targets for electro‑optical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Defining technical requirements for space and defence systems
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with applicable standards and system requirements
  • Design electro‑optical components and systems
  • Support laboratory testing activities
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of technical documentation for the system and components
  • Participate in project meetings, both internal and external, involving customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferably in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or with electro‑optical systems
  • Knowledge of Defence and Aerospace standards
  • Experience in technical documentation development
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Italian or other European languages are a plus
