Overview

Fondazione Chips-IT is looking for a motivated and competent HR Generalist to contribute to the growth and development of our human capital. In an international, dynamic, and highly qualified environment, the selected candidate will play a key role in the management and development of the people who make scientific and technological innovation possible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the recruitment process and contracts, with a focus on administrative, labor law, and regulatory aspects. They will also be responsible for the strategic development of human resources, contributing to the growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Selection : comprehensive management of the search and selection process, from posting job ads to screening CVs, from interviews to onboarding new employees, with a particular focus on high-level technical and scientific profiles.
  • Contract management and regulatory compliance : ensuring compliance with Italian and European labor regulations, including health and safety, equal opportunities, and personal data protection; support in contract management, including for personnel from abroad.
  • HR policies and procedures : development and implementation of guidelines, policies, and procedures consistent with the research center’s mission.
  • Training and development : designing training courses and professional development plans, in collaboration with scientific and administrative departments, to enhance cross-functional and specialist skills.
  • Organizational well-being and staff relations : promoting corporate welfare, engagement, and work-life balance initiatives to foster a stimulating and inclusive work environment.
  • Administrative management : attendance tracking, relations with external consultants, payroll processing, and management of staff missions with related expense reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resources or related disciplines; master’s degrees or postgraduate courses are considered an added value.
  • Consolidated experience in the role of HR Generalist or similar (at least 5 years), preferably in complex, international, or research contexts.
  • Specific knowledge and proven experience in issues and procedures relating to tax breaks for “brain gain” / "rientro dei cervelli" and the recruitment of personnel from abroad (EU and non-EU); procedures for realease of italian working permits to non-EU personnel.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor regulations, contracts, and recruitment procedures, including for foreign personnel, and tax break schemes.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (preferably C1 level).
  • Interpersonal skills, listening skills, and empathy, combined with initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and in rapidly changing environments.
