About InPost

InPost is a leading player in the business-to-consumer parcel delivery market. In Poland, they are successfully redesigning the last mile for e-commerce as the market leader. InPost covers the Italian market with a network of 4,300 PUDOs (Pick Up and Drop Off points) and 2,222 fully automated parcel lockers that are accessible 24/7, enabling customers to collect, send, and return parcels at their earliest convenience. The aim is to continue scaling InPost in the Italian market in a similarly rapid trajectory to that of Integer’s Polish home market.

Job Overview

As Head of Procurement you will be responsible for finding goods and services for InPost at the best value regarding quality and price. Your underlying duty will be meeting budget constraints to increase profitability and to help us keep growing.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
  • Creating and maintaining the purchasing policy and ensuring that all purchases adhere to it.
  • Managing supplier relationships (tracking performance, availability, pricing, and quality).
  • Auditing all ongoing purchases to identify potential savings and contribute to the EBITDA objectives.
  • Benchmarking current suppliers with better market alternatives.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure that they fulfil all customer requests.
  • Maintaining strong internal stakeholder relationships through follow up and communication regarding material arrival issues arising in the supply chain.
  • Purchase sale agreements and supply contracts in ways that benefit their company.
  • Proactively resolving issues (i.e., material shortages, quality issues, etc.) with vendors.
  • Creating and tracking all purchase orders and contracts.
  • Ensuring the legal compliance of all agreements with suppliers.
  • Anticipating and planning for inventory needs and ensuring timely arrivals.
  • Seeking to reduce dependency on single-source suppliers through contracts and strategic partnerships.
  • Cooperating with global purchasing actions throughout the InPost group.
  • Implementation and management of digital compliance tools.
  • Lead the implementation and integration of procurement processes within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Train and support team members in utilizing SAP S/4HANA for procurement activities.
Key Skills
  • Great organizational, planning skills, excellent networking and time management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing, supplier selection, cost analysis, and negotiation.
  • Agile worker who can adapt to shifting business needs in a fast‑growing environment.
  • Comfortable managing and reporting on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and experience in system implementation is highly desirable.
  • Ability to concisely communicate escalations, requirements and issues to suppliers, peers, management, and customers with clarity.
