Your Contribution

This position leads the Controlling team, acting as a strategic business partner to regional and global management, with a focus on financial planning, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead and develop the Controlling team by enhancing capabilities, ensuring effective collaboration, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to EMEA regional and global management, providing financial insights to support decision‑making and long‑term planning.
  • Manage monthly closing processes in local systems (SAP, MARS), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with corporate standards.
  • Coordinate and consolidate financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning across all European entities.
  • Prepare comprehensive management reporting packages and presentations for regular and ad‑hoc reviews, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
  • Oversee cost structure management, including cost centre planning, headcount and personnel cost analysis, and CAPEX monitoring and approval.
  • Define and analyse production costs, including BOM set‑up, standard cost calculations, and margin impact assessments through variance analysis.
  • Ensure strong internal controls and compliance, support audits and implement measures to mitigate financial and operational risks.
  • Drive and manage key projects, such as SAP S/4 HANA implementation and development of standardised controlling tools and processes.
  • Support business case development for new product launches, investments, market entries, and M&A activities, ensuring financial viability and alignment with strategic goals.
Your Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in controlling, finance, accounting, or budgeting roles.
  • Fluent in English; Italian as a native language is required.
  • Proven experience in multinational environments, preferably within the automotive manufacturing sector.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP, ideally within aftermarket and manufacturing modules.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, cross‑functional team setting.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
