Overview

The opportunity

You will be working in the Global Product Management team, which is responsible for the definition of the Power Conversion Solutions product portfolio, development roadmap, and market introduction. This position is focused on all aspects related to power conversion solutions and AC integrations of various DC loads (BESS, Solar etc.). Working within the Global Product Group Power Conversion Solutions, you will define and develop the product portfolio and manage our product lifecycle for our global customer base for multiple use cases from large scale battery storage, to renewable integrations, and new system topologies. As part of the global product management team, you\'re the thought leader and key contributor to meet the business objectives of our unit.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the strategy and development of new products and solutions for the Power Conversion Solutions business.
  • Identify market growth opportunities - collect, verify, and define market requirements for power system solutions and applications across different customer segments.
  • Work goal oriented in close collaboration with different internal business units and functions, end customers and development teams. Communicating and coordinating with people of different technical backgrounds is a key success factor.
  • Understand the functional and technical needs of internal and external customers, identify the gaps in the current solutions and lead the full process to implement the new platform and solutions.
  • Drive operational efficiency by delivering appropriate application and solution knowledge information and training (technical and sales) for the Sales and Marketing team. Participate in customer meetings and drive the development of the solution requirements.
  • Assisting and contributing to the generation of targets and verification methods that are driven by new technical requirements, customers and FMEA.
  • Conduct trainings on the products and solutions principles and strategies.

Qualifications/Background
  • MSc/BSc in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • 10 years of hands-on experience with deep understanding for Power electronics, electrical grid automation and solution development in the field of renewable energy or battery energy storage
  • Strong background in international related standards and regulations such as IEC and IEEE
  • Personable, pro-active, professional and able to demonstrate full commitment to exceptional customer care and service in all activities.
  • Compelling communication, negotiation and presentation skills incl. e.g., able to give keynote speeches in customer workshops and trainings.
  • Knowledge of power systems, LV, MV and HV electrical equipment, switchgears, generation equipment. Knowledge of components such as RTUs, power meters, PLCs.
  • Proactivity, flexibility, good communication, interpersonal and team working skills.
  • Availability to travel globally (20 - 30% of the time)
