A global home furnishing retailer in Rimini is looking for a Fulfilment Operations Coordinator. This role involves leading operational teams to ensure high-quality fulfilment services while optimizing costs. Ideal candidates will have experience in logistics processes and strong leadership skills, with fluency in English and Italian. • Experience as a coordinator of a team and logistics processes.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

POURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Reach excellence in daily running fulfilment unit operations by assigning job duties to co-workers and communicating objectives and goals daily
• Lead, coach and develop the operational teams
• Ensure all activities are performed with high quality at the lowest possible costs, with the customer in focus, and always with an everyday safe, sustainable, and healthy work environment in mind

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Lead the Fulfilment Operations Co-workers in the assigned area of responsibility to secure the highest goods availability and operational readiness at the lowest possible cost
• Identify, recruit, retain, and develop the talents in the Fulfilment Operations team to secure a diverse, high-performing team that can execute its responsibilities with confidence and secure future succession
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment and ensure co-workers work in compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local health, safety, security, and environmental regulations
• Secure effective, qualitative, and efficient daily Fulfilment Operations by contributing to goal achievement, people, shift and equipment planning, raising quality awareness to prevent damages, driving local business plans/projects, and analyzing workload to meet daily volume and seasonal needs
• Support the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda in the assigned unit operations environment

• Good knowledge of retail and/or logistics processes, tools and working methods
• Good knowledge of different leadership styles and how to adapt them to needs and situations
• Understanding of budget, cost, and key performance indicators and how to use them to plan, follow up and steer the business
• Understanding and active usage of all IKEA manuals and relevant Standard Operating Procedures
• Sound understanding of the IKEA Code of Conduct and regulations relating to health, safety, and security
• Knowledge and skills of safe and efficient forklift driving methods according to IKEA rules and local legislation
• Ability to communicate in English and Italian
