The Role
As Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of front office operations: from guest arrival to guest departure, from reservations to revenue and payment management, to team training and performance.
You will be a visible figurehead, working closely with the Front Office team to ensure that every guest interaction reflects the warmth, creativity and quality that define Parkhotel Mondschein.
You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and memorable guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service, communication and attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead all Front Office operations: front desk, reservations, concierge, guest service and billing
- Maintain a strong on-the-floor presence and ensure excellent guest experiences, from pre-arrival to goodbye
- Coordinate front and back office activities, including contracts, billing, rate and revenue management
- Train, motivate and develop the Front Office team, fostering a supportive and high performance culture
- Implement and maintain service standards in line with the Parkhotel Mondschein philosophy
- Supervise the lobby shop and have inventory control with precision and accuracy
- Coordinate the execution of events with various internal departments and external partners
- Act as Duty Manager when needed, ensuring smooth operations during peak periods, weekends and events
- Manage department budgets, planning, performance metrics and cost control
- Collaborate with Housekeeping, F&B and other departments to ensure smooth communication and operations
- Manage relationships with OTAs, tour operators and other business partners
- Manage reservations, room assignments and guest requests in collaboration with other departments
- Manage feedback, special requests and guest complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Monitor performance, plan shifts, and support administrative activities
- Ensure that all staff follow hotel policies, grooming standards, and operating procedures
Your Profile
- Proven experience as a Front Office Manager or in a Front Office leadership role in upscale or lifestyle hotels
- Operational and hands-on management style; confidence in field leadership
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Solid knowledge of Front Office systems, billing, reservations and revenue tools
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and lead by example
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays and special events
- Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
- Fluency in German, Italian and English preferred
