Associated with the Galeries Lafayette group and present in Milan, Italy, we are looking for a Financial Controller.

Your future job:

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver timely and accurate weekly, monthly, and forecast reporting for local & global teams, as well as local management: sales, turnover, commercial investments, and costs.
• Support monthly financial closings, monitor costs, perform variance analysis, and ensure accuracy and timely submission to the Group via SAP reporting tool.
• Prepare Excel reports on key financial indicators, detailed P&L analysis, respecting deadlines.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and reports as required.
• Collaborate with the accounting department (AP / AR / GL).
• Maintain and develop financial processes and procedures.
• Arrange tax declarations within statutory deadlines.
• Monitor cash flow.
• Support relationships with banks, financial institutions, and consultants.
• Improve automation and formatting of all reporting.

What is expected from you:

• Prior experience in controlling or audit preferred.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Solid background in Italian and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS / IAS) and tax regulations.
• Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is a plus.
• Advanced skills in Excel and other computer tools.
• Strong reliability, data accuracy, and analytical skills.
• Excellent organization and punctuality, with strict respect for deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Proactive with problem-solving mindset.
• Fluency in English.
