For our headquarters in Spino d’Adda (CR), Italy, we are looking for a motivated Finance and Accounting Manager with a permanent contract to support finance and accounting processes in our global businesses.

Specific Responsibilities

The candidate will collaborate with finance and operations across various business functions to execute financial projects that drive change, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. They must understand business priorities and translate them into concrete actions to support the company's rapid financial growth and recent acquisition by UPS. The role acts as a link between regional finance teams, corporate finance, and UPS Healthcare finance, assessing needs in areas such as finance change management, complex project management, reporting enhancement, profitability analysis, and finance system integration.

We seek finance professionals who can think innovatively, anticipate needs, diagnose problems, and propose valuable solutions with a digital mindset. The role requires collaboration within a matrix organization to build and deliver results amid significant transformation and organic growth.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing projects with high financial impact and visibility.
  • Evaluating finance data and reporting inputs, identifying necessary process enhancements or reconfigurations for better management reporting.
  • Working with business partners to optimize data flow into finance systems, including invoicing, product offerings, cost center data, and labor mapping.
  • Partnering with and training business operations on process change management related to data input and system integration.
  • Reviewing processes for automation opportunities and designing process changes with stakeholders.
  • Documenting and maintaining responsibilities and stakeholder communication for change management projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal accounting and finance policies and procedures.
  • Providing updates to senior management on project status and financial impacts.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • 8-10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or as a business partner in a multinational environment.
  • Experience liaising with IT and finance departments.
  • Proven ability to develop business requirements and documentation for IT projects.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and finance requirements.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office 365, Excel, and data analysis.
  • Experience with Oracle or similar enterprise accounting systems.
  • Understanding of internal controls and financial processes.
  • Experience in financial data analysis and process mapping.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with monthly financial closes.
  • Proficiency in a second language.
  • Experience working in a publicly traded company.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics sectors.
