JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of the Role

Coverage: 70% Emerging Markets (focus on Middle East) 30% Italy
The Field Trainer EMEAC is responsible for delivering technical support and training across the Emerging Markets region with a focus on the Middle East. The role supports device implantation and follow-up for advanced therapies and contributes to internal training for Abbott and distributor teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during and after device implantation across the Middle East and other Emerging Markets with secondary coverage in Italy.
• Collaborate with the EM Division Manager and sales teams to ensure efficient support for implants and follow-ups.
• Stay current with therapy developments and healthcare market dynamics in covered regions.
• Apply best practices throughout the implant process.
• Monitor competitive products and activities.
• Follow Abbotts complaint and field action procedures.
• Act as a Train the Trainer for the EM region.
• Serve as the first point of contact for technical inquiries from customers and internal teams.
• Support internal training events courses and seminars.
• Respond to training-related requests from internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent Abbott with professionalism and integrity.

Quality & Regulatory Responsibilities

• Adhere to all relevant Quality System Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain knowledge of Field Safety Corrective Actions and related SOPs as part of the Field Action Team.

Qualifications & Competencies

Education:

• Degree in a medical or technical field.

Experience:

• 23 years of experience supporting procedures in the operating room.
• Preferred experience with implantable therapies.

Skills:

• Fluent in English and Italian; Arabic is a plus.
• Proficient in basic office software.
• Valid drivers license.
