Un'innovativa società di ingegneria cerca un Expert Software Engineer per sviluppare software nel campo del calcolo quantistico. La posizione richiede almeno 5 anni di esperienza, capacità di lavorare in un ambiente multidisciplinare e competenze in linguaggi come Python e C/C++. Job Description

As Expert Software Engineer you will be part of Eniquantic. Together with a team of physicists and electronics engineers, you will contribute to realizing a quantum computer based on neutral atoms. Specifically, you will contribute to developing the software to control the experimental apparatus, working on experimental data acquisition and processing software, on client-server protocols for the remote control of instrumentation, and on the GUI for operating the apparatus and monitoring the acquired data.

Main Activities

• Software development for the fast acquisition and processing of experimental data from optical sensors and camera images
• Software development and maintenance for the remote control and integration of experimental instrumentation, via server-client protocols and API interfaces
• GUI development for the monitoring, diagnosis, and operation of the experimental apparatus
• Management of the software development projects, including maintenance and documentation
• Collaboration with the quantum and electronic engineering teams to define the requirements and develop the control software

Required Features

• MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science
• At least 5 years of experience (possibly including a PhD program) of software development within academic or industrial research projects
• Experience with the management of software development and versioning with Git or similar platforms (such as GitLab)
• Professional knowledge of Python and its main libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, etc.)
• Knowledge of C / C++ and standard libraries
• Experience with GUI design and development frameworks such as Qt, Javascript, etc.
• Teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment with autonomy and proactivity
• Professional knowledge and use of the English language.
