Essential skills required:

• You must have your own vehicle and a full driver’s licence
• Have a passion for helping people
• If you have no health qualification your application will not be considered
• L3 and L4 Health Qualification – Essential
• A great communicator and able to use a variety of communication strategies (e.g., social media, texting, non‑verbal communication aids)
• Able to commit to a client(s) for an extended period of time

We are seeking a Male Support Worker in the Nelson area to join our highly motivated team to engage with our client in supporting them to live their lives, in their communities, in ways that are meaningful to them. We need someone who can support a client that is legally blind to engage in activities that they like to do. These supports would be 2.5 hours long, four times a week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at around 9:30 am.
