The position reports to the Head of Employee and Experience Relations Italy, within the EU Employee and Experience Relations Team at Amazon. This is a full-time position that will require up to 50% of travel throughout Italy and beyond on occasion, sometimes with little or no notice. The Employee Head Relations (ER) Manager role requires an individual who has significant employee and labour relations experience, deep subject matter expertise, and strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
The role involves helping to develop and implement strategies to address country labor relations challenges for operational business lines delivering to our customers and providing labor relations support by collaborating with operational teams to advance company objectives. The role acts as strategic partner for Operations, Delivery Service Partner Management team, and other key internal / external stakeholders.
The primary focus is to drive operational excellence, goals, strategy, while addressing the ER needs within a specific country geography. Leading through complex labor issues and crisis situations with sound judgment and effective communication is key to this role.
