We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Engineers to join our dynamic teams. Our ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise in software development, demonstrates leadership skills, and plays a pivotal role in building reusable code and libraries, driving the development and maintenance of our systems, with a focus on backend architecture and a passion for functional programming.

As part of our global community, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate across various domains such as:

• Intermediaries: supporting our B2B channel
• Policy and Customer Management: implementing strategies to increase retention and optimize operations across countries like Italy, the UK, and Spain
• Claims: evolving our claims management platform across multiple countries and regulatory environments
• Conversion: converting leads into customers through scalable strategies

Responsibilities

• Architecting and developing reusable code
• Designing, developing, and maintaining services with scalability and industry best practices in mind
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective solutions
• Conducting code reviews and enforcing coding standards
• Staying updated with latest technologies and driving their adoption
• Working with managers to define project timelines and ensure delivery
• Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues
• Contributing to a culture of continuous learning and growth

Requirements

• Extensive experience in backend development
• Strong English communication skills
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture, microservices, domain-driven design
• Enthusiasm for new technologies and mentoring
• Self-motivated with problem-solving skills
• Experience in Agile environments

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of functional programming languages
• Experience with Rust or Elixir
• Knowledge of TDD, RabbitMQ / Kafka
