Responsibilities

• You will be working in the Product Development Team designing and testing the electronics and the microcontroller firmware.
• You will interact with the project leader and the other team members to define the functional specifications of the products.
• You will be responsible for the creation of the electrical diagram of analog and digital circuits.
• You will selecting all relevant components.
• You will use professional instrumentations (oscilloscopes, calibrators, power analyzers, etc).
• You will always have an eye for both time and budget management selecting state‑of‑the‑art‑of‑state‑chips, which is a challenge itself. Deadlines are always lurking around the corner.
• You will check and support the validation of the prototypes (Functional, EMC, Environmental, other requirements according to applied standards).
• You will design and engineer new products and machines, from ideation and concept generation to prototyping, technical elaboration and production start‑up.

Requirements and qualifications

• You are passionate about working with various hardware components.
• You have a higher degree in Engineering (Electronics, ICT or similar).
• You have knowledge of hardware design principles, methods, tools, and techniques.
• You know how to program in embedded C and C++. Next to this you have experience with Python.
• You are flexible, you have no problem with adapting new plans. Product development is fun, but also unpredictable.
• You are passionate about all technical aspects of product development.
• You are very hands‑on and practical.
