Overview

Who we are

We are Seares, a Tuscany company founded in 2018, with the goal to change the way every floating body moors and anchors across the seven seas. We produce the most innovative hydraulic and mechatronic mooring system called Seadamp. Seares aims to be a key partner in ports and marinas digital transition, in offshore anchoring, and in Yacht and Superyacht mooring.

Who we are looking for

Our project is ambitious and challenging. We are looking for a brave industrial engineer with 3–5 years of experience in:

• Executing the mechanical development and producing the technical documentation (Specifications, Drawings, BoM, Test plans, etc.).
• Interfacing with technical activities of product and process development, internally and with partners / suppliers as needed.
• Supporting and providing engineering expertise to other departments.
• Working in synergy with electronic engineers to develop mechatronic products.
• Working in cross-functional teams with program managers, manufacturing, quality, purchasing and R&D.
• Interfacing with clients at a global level.
• Problem-solving attitude.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechatronics (preferred), Mechanical, Aeronautical, Naval Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical system design and development
• Expert proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) – 3D modeling, CAM generation, PDM management, FEM / CFD simulations
• Experience in FMEA / Risk Analysis and Design Review
• Professional fluency in both Italian and English
• Willingness to relocate to the Livorno area for full-time production oversight

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in marine or offshore applications
• Experience with industrial automation, sensors, hydraulics and control systems
• Experience in CAE modeling (FEM, dynamic models, etc.)
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (ProfiNET, EtherCAT, CANopen)
• Knowledge of IoT solutions for remote monitoring and control
• International work experience or collaboration with global teams
• Familiarity with robotics and vision systems integration
• Master\'s degree preferred
