A leading household appliance manufacturer is looking for a Supply Chain professional to manage demand forecasting and replenishment in Milan, Italy. The role requires collaboration with sales and marketing teams to analyze demand drivers and challenge forecasts using relevant data. Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience in demand planning within a multinational context, a Master's degree, and proficiency in Italian and English. The resource will be joining our Supply Chain Team, Italy Market. In particular, the person will support the team with the following activities: Own Forecast and Replenishment management, control inventory evolution and leading improvement actions with commercial organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a constant relationship with the sales and Marketing teams to understand the demand forecasting drivers.
• Challenge the forecasts from the sales teams and the usual runs (historical data, seasonality, market trends, special offers, budgets…) with relevant data analysis.
• Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and properly reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
• Prepare and maintain reports pertaining to demand planning process.
• Collect and analyse market sell‑out forecasts, actual sales, promotions, activities and historical trends to validate the demand to be used in the planning activities.
• Contribute to develop inventory strategies and follow up sales & actions for obsolete, aged, slow pace or excess stock.
• Work closely with Factories and Order Desk to share possible gaps & opportunities from a production/supply standpoint, discussing and agreeing corrective actions if needed.
• Act as a key player in the Phase‑In / Phase‑Out management.
• Be involved in agreed transformation projects aiming at improvement of performance levels.
• Use your own expertise to support “people growth” giving, asking & receiving the right level of feedback.
• Attend courses and trainings aimed at personal & professional development and growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Demand or Supply Planning preferably in a multinational company.
• Master’s degree in economics or management engineering.
• Proficient Italian and English speaker.
• Big adaptability and flexible mindset.
• Proficient user of MS Office (advanced level of Excel) & ERP systems.
• Ability to perform under time pressure.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate different functions to provide a consensus on demand planning.
