A leading HVAC solutions provider is seeking a Data Centre Key Account Manager for its office in Ariccia, Italy. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the HVAC and Data-Centre verticals and a proven ability to manage large, multi-site accounts. Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with data-centre clients, leading the inquiry-to-order process, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions. This role offers a hybrid working model with expected travel across EMEA.

Competenze

  • 10+ years of combined experience in HVAC and/or Data-Centre vertical markets.
  • Proven track record of managing large, multi-site or multinational key accounts.
  • Fluent English; additional European languages a plus.

For our office in Ariccia (RM), we are looking for a DATA CENTRE KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER _HVAC Systems

The role will have and develop a dedicated portfolio of developed and target data‑centre clients—including consultants, hyperscalers and global colocation providers—ensuring Daikin is their preferred partner from first enquiry through order‑to‑cash. Act as the single point of contact across the full project lifecycle, orchestrating internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer‑specific HVAC solutions, maximise bookings and margin, and feed market insights back to leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Ownership & Development – Maintain and expand relationships with assigned data‑centre accounts and influencers to secure master purchase agreements (MPAs) and repeat project wins.
  • Opportunity Management – Drive the enquiry→proposal→order→delivery→cash process; keep CRM pipeline, order status and revenue forecasts accurate and up to date.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership – Coordinate with Product Management, Applications Engineering, Service and Finance to craft customer‑specific HVAC solutions and ensure profitable execution.
  • Regional & Global Alignment – Collaborate with fellow KAMs across Daikin Applied Europe and wider EMEA, and interface with global/other‑region KAMs for hyperscaler and multi‑region colocation accounts.
  • Business‑Development Follow‑Up – Qualify and advance leads generated by the Central Data‑Centre BD team, converting them into bookings.
  • Commercial Performance – Deliver on annual targets for bookings, invoicing, margin and account growth; track KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Voice of Customer & Market Intelligence – Provide structured feedback on industry trends, competitor moves and product gaps to Top Management and Product teams.
  • Governance & Compliance – Ensure all proposals, contracts and deliveries comply with Daikin policies, ethical standards and local regulations.
Key Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related technical field).
  • 10+ years of combined experience in HVAC and/or Data‑Centre vertical markets; chiller/precision cooling knowledge highly valued.
  • Proven track record of winning and managing large, multi‑site or multinational key accounts.
  • Existing network with data‑centre operators, consultants, hyperscalers and/or global colocation providers is preferred.
  • Fluent English; additional European languages a plus.
  • Willingness to travel (~30–40%) across EMEA.
