A leading event management company is seeking a Data and Ticketing Assistant fluent in English and Italian for an exciting role in Milan. The role includes supporting the development and reporting of data related to event guests and managing ticketing operations. Ideal candidates will have strong IT and project management skills, experience with data handling, and a proactive, organized approach. This contract position runs from January 5 to February 23, 2026, and requires flexibility and high energy in a demanding environment.

Data and Ticketing Assistant (Global Sporting Event) – Italian/English Speaking

Contract role starting on 5 Jan 2026 and ending on 23 Feb 2026, based in Milan. The Data and Ticketing Assistant will support the development, maintenance and reporting of all data relating to guests of the dedicated client’s programme and assist in ticketing operations, creating an efficient allocation and distribution system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the late stage set up and finalization of systems and documentation.
  • Respond to queries and data changes pre‑event and onsite via email, phone and face‑to‑face.
  • Produce and distribute regular reports for clients, service providers and project teams.
  • Develop and manage professional working relationships with the client, service providers and project teams.
  • Communicate data changes to relevant parties and manage changes and queries professionally.
  • Adhere to GDPR and other event location data regulations.
  • Understand seating configurations, unused ticket procedures, venue or schedule changes and transportation delays.
  • Prepare venue maps and event information for distribution to guests and programme team.
  • Digitally distribute ticketing to guests on arrival days and throughout the program.
  • Support onsite training of all ticket procedures for relevant team members.
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of guest data and provide a seamless ticket distribution service.
  • Monitor all ticketing operations and manage changes to procedures or programme alterations.
  • Update the ticket database daily and report issues promptly to the Ticketing Manager.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • Experience using various databases and guest management systems.
  • Experience managing and reporting on large volumes of data.
  • Excellent IT skills – confident using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and different platforms and devices.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organised, analytical background with an eye for detail.
  • Strong time‑management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Proactive, positive approach to all tasks and a high degree of reliability.
