Descrizione del lavoro
Senior Mechanical Engineer

Uniflair Spa is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be hired on a full-time employment contract.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field or, alternatively, a diploma in mechanical engineering.

The selected candidate will be part of an integrated project team (including mechanical, electrical, software, and technical documentation areas) and will be responsible for developing mechanical components using Solid Edge software. Projects may involve the development of new product lines (PMP), sustaining of existing product lines (PEP), or highly customized orders for specific clients (CSP). During project development, the process will start with drafting the refrigeration diagram, and will be followed by the design of 3D/2D models using CAD software such as Solid Edge. The candidate will collaborate with the electrical designer to define shared aspects (e.g., electrical panel positioning, cable routing, etc.) and work closely with the entire team.

The candidate will also handle item coding and the creation/modification of machine BOMs, completing cross‑functional activities on the product portfolio, including the development of welding maps. The selected person will also participate in the upstream phase of the project, designing and developing new products and subassemblies, and validating complex designs and solutions through testing and prototypes development. The adopted solutions must be tested independently and, within the specific area of expertise, with a strong sense of responsibility.

Some activities may also involve coordinating junior mechanical profiles within a project team.
