A construction management company is seeking a Site Manager in Udine, Italy. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and controlling construction activities, ensuring project execution on time and within budget. Applicants should have 3-5 years of experience in managing steel processing plant projects and possess strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent English proficiency is required, and candidates must be willing to travel globally.

Descrizione del lavoro

The position’s responsibility is for the construction work package during the order execution phase with an active role in the erection estimation and bidding phase.

Primary responsibilities :

• Initiates, coordinates, and controls all construction activities within the project to ensure in-time, in budget, and in-quality project execution for his function;
• Communicates cross functional and provides all relevant information to the project core team, especially to the Project Manager and Project Supply Chain Manager, the Engineering Manager, and the Project Scheduler;
• Specialist contact with responsibility for processing the construction work package during order execution for the site team;
• Central project-related point of contact for the construction phase;
• Contact personfor optimizing and coordinating all matters relating to construction work package in consultation with the General Commissioning Manager;
• Monitorscompliance of contractors with the HSE plan, and escalates to the Project Manager in the event of significant non-conformity;
• sets out the arrangements for HSE and ensures that all requisite measures are implemented for site operation;
• Is responsiblefor the full and proper preparation of the construction work package;
• Responsibilityfor compliance with all legal and customer requirements in the planning and execution phase of a project with focus on safe construction site operation, considering also all relevant environmental aspects.

Job requirements :

• Leadership to coordinate, manage and controls all construction activities.
• At least 3 / 5 years of professional experience in Site Management’s activity in the construction of steel processing plants;
• Knowledge in Site erection and commissioning activities management preferred for steel plants
• Very good written and spoken English
• Ability to work in a team and flexibility
• Willingness to travel worldwide
• Organizational skills, sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure
• Open-mindedness towards new approaches and innovations
• Confident handling of MS Office tools
