A leading tech consultancy is seeking a Cloud Expert & Project Manager in Milan to oversee cloud project execution and coordination. You will manage technical teams, ensure project governance, and facilitate the integration of global and local teams. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in cloud architectures, particularly AWS and Azure, and holds a degree in Engineering or Informatics. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential.

Overview

Cloud Expert & Project manager role aims to support the project execution and delivery of cloud streams and also other digital projects concerning GO (Group Operations) products. Inside cloud broker team, He / she will play a more operative PM role acting as technical coordinator interfacing local OPCO PM and DEVOPS teams with the other GO teams (Local or product owners).

He / she will followup since the beginning the demand process including scoping phase and organize the activites in change to GO teams including cloud engineers belonging to Cloud Broker team.

He / she will act also as internal focal point for all GO programs and internal activites that need technical coordination.

Responsibilities

• Act as PM focused on technical coordination of teams involved in the move to cloud program including GO cloud products competence centers, GO OPS team out of Italy (Portugal for QUIXA). Target cloud platforms are Private IAAS, public cloud in AWS and Azure
• Ensure and attend to proper projects' governance reporting on tasks status and actuals
• Ensure projects' deliverables and transition to RUN mode is properly managed enabling all stakeholders to access to all needed tools and TOM is agreed
• Project manager engaging GO local and global teams for GO internal project / programs impacting Italy
• Support Cloud Broker RPM (Private cloud Regional Program Manager) for reporting on cloud governance OPCOs digital projects
• Act as PM focused on technical coordination of teams involved in OPCOs' digital projects that integrate GO products considered as solutions; building blocks like content management, ESB, ESG / API, IAM
• Support Cloud Broker team leader in the PBP role (ProductBusinessPartner) for GO products considered as pillars for OPCO's digital initiatives like content management, ESB, ESG / API, IAM

Qualifications & Skills

• Security best practices knowledge
• Network principles knowledge
• English (mandatory)
• Project management experience in tech / infra projects with high level of integrations and hybrid platform based in international companies with complex organization
• Capacity to ensure cost / time respect defined by the different Entities followed
• Used to work with structured and complex processes and able to simplify them as much as possible to meet flexibility requirements of business needs
• Capability to represent locally the Global Products interfacing Global Teams and Local ones
• Knowledge of the project management tools and project management methodology (including Agile)
• Degree: Engineering / Informatics
• Plus: AWS practitioner and Azure fundamentals certifications nice to have
