A leading international contractor is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Milan office. This role requires a degree in a technical discipline and at least 15 years of experience in an international EPC or energy sector. Responsibilities include understanding market trends, developing business plans, managing client relationships, and increasing market share. The ideal candidate is fluent in Italian and English. This position offers opportunities to shape strategic business initiatives in the rapidly evolving energy sector.

  • Track record of demonstrable commercial successes.
  • In-depth knowledge of markets and customers in Oil & Gas, Power, Energy Transition and Industrial sectors.

Techint Engineering & Construction, a leading international contractor, to support its growth plans is seeking for its Milan office a Business Development Manager – Engineering and PMC Services.

This position will report to the BD Senior Manager.

Main duties and responsibilities will be :
  • Understand market trends based on projected clients’ needs and market drivers
  • Set and execute business development plans based on the company strategy
  • Identify and develop quality opportunities with both existing and prospect customers
  • Manage relations with accounts, new clients and potential partners
  • Identify innovative approaches to increase market share and geographical footprint
  • Support the company strategic definitions and annual business planning processes.
  • Perform proposals management activities and cooperate in preparing proposals as required
The essential requirements for this position are :
  • Degree in technical discipline
  • At least 15 years’ experience in an international EPC, technical consulting or Energy companies
  • Track record of demonstrable commercial successes
  • Capability to analyze potential markets / clients and develop successful business development plans
  • In-depth knowledge of markets and customers in the Oil & Gas, Power, Energy Transition and Industrial sectors
  • Fluent Italian and English. Spanish will be considered a plus.
