A leading retail company based in Brugherio is seeking a Broadcast Engineer to support the live production infrastructure. The role involves managing broadcasting systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth technical operations. Ideal candidates should have a technical degree or diploma, experience in a television environment, and strong knowledge of broadcast equipment and systems, as well as fluency in Italian and English.

For our Broadcasting Engineering team based in Brugherio (MB), we are looking for a Broadcast Engineer – full time, permanent.

In this role, you will work on shift under the supervision of the Manager, Broadcast Engineering, providing system support for the broadcast infrastructure and end users. You will conduct root cause analysis of escalated and complex incidents/problems related to broadcasting systems, supporting our Live Production Infrastructure.

Your Impact

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support for broadcasting systems in the Live Production environment, including distribution to linear, streamed platforms, web streams, and social media.
• Managing equipment specifications, system design, and installation.
• Participating in projects, including research, installation, and configuration.
• Evaluating and testing broadcasting equipment and systems.
• Creating and reviewing standards and operating procedures for broadcasting infrastructure.
• Serving as the subject matter expert for broadcasting disaster recovery planning, implementation, and execution.
• Managing support incidents for all broadcasting systems.
• Sharing technical expertise of broadcasting standards with the global Broadcast Engineering team.

What You Bring

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or a technical high school diploma with relevant experience.
• At least two years of recent, related broadcast engineering experience in a television broadcast environment.
• Proven experience troubleshooting broadcast equipment and systems.
• Experience with broadcast cameras, video switchers, audio, and data.
• Knowledge of Video over IP and basic networking skills.
• The ability to explain technical issues clearly and patiently to all user levels.
• Fluency in Italian and good command of English.
