The Job:

The Automation QA Engineer role within Kuoni Tumlare involves delivering testing across various projects and IT applications. Working closely with software developers, this role ensures quality delivery and maintenance of software and applications.

Responsibilities include collaborating with business analysts and developers to define testing scope, estimating testing efforts, designing and maintaining test scripts, executing manual and automated tests, reviewing results, analyzing issues, and working with developers to resolve defects. Flexibility to support business analysis and support tasks is also required.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• Experience with technical and project methodology expertise in Quality Assurance
• Over 3 years of experience in an automation QA role working on BSS applications and transformation projects
• Experience with automation frameworks and relevant tools for web and desktop applications
• Knowledge of automation principles, practices, and testing techniques (white box and black box)
• Experience creating and maintaining automation test suites
• API automation experience
• Ability to review and contribute to unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Experience with bug tracking systems like JIRA
• Knowledge of the travel industry is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong problem-solving skills, resilience, accountability, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to articulate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
