We are looking for a motivated Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our pre-opening team.

The role will report to the Executive Housekeeper

Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.

The hotel is also featuring a SPA, 5 food & beverages outlets and more than 1000 sqm events venues.

Key responsibilities :

  • Supporting the Executive Housekeeper for directing, supervising, and coordinating the daily activities of the housekeeping department.
  • Handling guests’ complaints and special requests
  • Ensuring that public areas, guestrooms, and linen are up to the standard
  • Educating all team members to be compliant with brand standards
  • Manage monthly inventories and control stock levels
  • Running daily cleanliness spot check
  • Manage lost and found items
  • Monitoring guests’ laundry delivery, linen & staff uniforms
  • Monitoring the outsourced cleaning company
  • Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper

Skills and requirements

  • Previous experience as Assistant Executive Housekeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning products, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
  • Good level of English.
  • Flexibility to work during the weekends and public holidays.
