A leading engineering firm in Italy is seeking an AMP Retrofit Technical Manager to oversee engineering and technical execution of retrofit projects. This role involves collaboration with multiple teams and ensuring solutions meet customer requirements. Candidates should have over 7 years of engineering experience in maritime or port automation, strong knowledge of IEC standards, and proficiency in English. The position is based in Italy but may involve travel.

Competenze

• 7+ years of engineering experience in maritime / port automation.
• Proven capability to perform onboard inspections for AMP retrofit installations.
• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder projects.

Mansioni

• Lead preparation of technical drawings for HV and LV vessels.
• Develop new design solutions tailored to vessel inquiries.
• Validate system designs and engineering documentation.
• Provide technical leadership during project execution.
• Conduct feasibility studies and root-cause analysis.

Conoscenze

AMP project engineering background

Knowledge of IEC standards

Engineering experience in industrial systems

Understanding of AMP / shore power systems

Technical proposal preparation

Coordination and communication skills

Proficient in English
