Overview

Account Manager - Money Movement Solutions at Visa focuses on designing, managing, and optimising products and solutions for moving money using Visa's networks (e.g., Visa Direct, Currency Cloud and B2B Connect). These products support commercial entities, governments, and other organisations, as well as P2P transfers and C2B spend on multi-currency accounts. MMS covers cross-border transactions, disbursements, money transfers, and more.

The role is accountable for the development and execution of the functional strategy and portfolio view to ensure the team meets or exceeds its financial (Net Revenue and Net Income growth) and scorecard goals. Strong commercial acumen and account management capabilities are required to manage revenue, upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.

Key responsibilities include client engagement, governance, and applying performance insights to deliver the strategy. This is a hybrid role with expectation of days in office to be confirmed by the Hiring Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Drive growth to enable the FXB business as a growth engine, aiming for up to 50% annual growth over 3-5+ years.
  • Contribute to building a new Visa business in money movement, expanding from core consumer payments to global cross-border consumer and business payment flows.
  • Own Net Revenue targets for the portfolio and the cluster, both for the team and individually.
  • Originate and execute aggressive sales targets for Visa Money Movement capabilities (Visa Direct Card/Account/Wallet, VXBS and B2BC).
  • Build and nurture a wide network of stakeholders across key regional players; leverage relationships to develop a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Define the best product propositions based on deep client knowledge and outline implementation roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with finance partners to structure high-value, complex commercial deals.
  • Work in close alignment with Compliance and Risk to enable swift client onboarding.
  • Participate in sales initiatives including new product roll-outs and case studies; scale Visa capabilities.
  • Consult on commercial process improvements to enable faster sales-to-revenue delivery.
Qualifications
  • Self-starter with bias toward action and a proven track record selling multi-million contracts and managing a sales team to achieve multi-million targets.
  • Experience in client/partnership management, sales, or business development at a global or multi-market level with structured client management for revenue growth.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering for clients; strong in commercial and legal deal structures and business case building.
  • Strong listening and communication skills (verbal and written) with executive presence to interface with client executives at C-level.
  • Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts clearly to influence adoption.
  • Highly analytical; capable of analyzing Visa systems to derive commercial insights and develop business development strategies.
  • Prior experience in cross-border business payments development is a must; prior people management experience is a must.
  • Second language is a plus; experience across multiple European markets is preferred.
