We are looking for a highly motivated and well‑organized Researcher in Climate Adaptation and Resilience Analysis with a solid background in environmental studies, climate science and socio‑economic analysis, and a strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate has experience in evaluating adaptation strategies and solutions, designing and applying economic evaluation methodologies and tools for assessing feasibility, cost‑effectiveness, co‑benefits and trade‑offs of adaptation interventions, particularly in the built environment. Experience in monitoring and evaluation of Nature‑based Solutions is an asset. Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and proactive engagement with colleagues and external stakeholders are highly valued.

The Researcher will be part of the REMHI Division – Regional Models and geo‑Hydrological Impacts, reporting to the Division Director, and will contribute to the design, development and implementation of methods and tools for assessing climate adaptation and resilience strategies in the built environment. In particular, the Researcher will support the development and application of economic evaluation methods and tools applied to climate adaptation and resilience strategies and solutions, with a strong focus on buildings, infrastructures, and public spaces.
Belonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition. Some fiscal benefits could be applied for repatriated workers or foreign researchers/professors, having the requirements defined by Dlgs 147/2015 (for repatriates) or Dl 78/2010 (for foreigners).
