About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, discreet, and organized Personal Assistant who is fluent in Mandarin and Indonesian to support a senior executive based in Tulang Bawang. The role combines administrative support with Mandarin<>Bahasa Indonesia translation and interpretation for business and personal matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily executive support: schedule management, appointment booking, travel arrangements, and calendar coordination.
- Translate written documents (letters, contracts, emails, reports) between Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia accurately and timely.
- Provide consecutive and/or liaison interpretation during meetings, phone calls, site visits, and social events.
- Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence and presentations in both languages.
- Handle calls, messages, and general communications on behalf of the principal.
- Assist with logistics for local travel, accommodations, and event coordination.
- Run personal errands and manage household/vendor communications as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle cultural nuances professionally.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Diploma (D3) from a recognized institution; preference for degrees in Chinese language, translation, communications, international relations, or related fields.
- Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) and Bahasa Indonesia; knowledge of English is a plus.
- Proven experience as a personal assistant, translator, or similar role (1–3 years preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and cultural sensitivity.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and smartphone apps.
- Willingness to travel locally and work flexible hours when needed.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
