Job description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Hyderabad team in a hybrid work environment. This role involves the design, coding, testing, and support of major software components, with a strong emphasis on quality and testability.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, testing, and support of software components.
• Reverse engineer existing product code to gain deep understanding for enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with team leaders, project managers, and cross-functional teams including customer support and engineering.
• Develop enhancements to the Teradata RDBMS product and design low to medium complexity database features.

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in C and data structures.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to independently design algorithmic solutions considering complexity and performance.
