Work you will do

This role sits within the SAP team of Deloitte Southeast Asia, which encompasses the SAP ABAP solutions respectively. As a leader of this group, you will drive the growth of our SAP business in the region and be responsible for the creation, sale and delivery of SAP solutions: Functional and Technical Design, SAP Application & Systems Development, SAP Business Transformation, etc.

• Engage clients in workshops and interviews to analyze process and reporting requirements
• Advise clients on industry/cross‑industry leading practices and SAP recommended processes and functions
• Design target state SAP solutions for clients, influence clients’ thinking in adopting leading/standard practices while developing target state
• Analyze application landscape to design interfaces to SAP solution
• Perform SAP configuration and tests, develop specifications for development of forms, reports, interfaces
• Lead the consultant and client teams through the implementation cycle including planning and execution of testing, migration and cutover
• Support change management execution by developing training material, delivering training and supporting users post‑cutover
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development
• Proven hands‑on experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Proven experience in implementing SAP Business Process Automation (BPA) solutions.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and data model
• Strong understanding of various SAP modules and their associated business processes (e.g., FI, CO, PS, TR, MM, PM)
• Proficiency in ABAP programming, including ABAP Objects, CDS views, and OData services.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 development.
• Knowledge of debugging tools and performance tuning techniques in ABAP
• Familiarity with process mapping and modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN)
• Experience with RPA tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
  • Experience with SAP BTP and cloud‑native development
  • Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., APIs, SOAP, REST)
  • Certifications in Business Process Management (BPM) or Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience with specific SAP BPA tools (e.g., SAP Build Process Automation, SAP IRPA, SAP CPI/PO)
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) for automation development
