Supply Chain Manager – Indonesia

Join a rapidly growing business as a key member of the Indonesia Leadership Team, driving end-to-end supply chain excellence, strategic planning, and high-impact collaboration across commercial, logistics, and regional functions. This role offers strong career development opportunities, including potential progression into regional supply chain leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize operational effectiveness and business performance
  • Act as the central point of contact between commercial teams, 3PL providers, distributors, and regional supply chain leaders
  • Supervise and guide the supply chain team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cross-functional strategies
  • Tailor supply chain solutions to evolving business needs, ensuring responsiveness, agility, and continuous improvement
  • Analyse supply chain performance, prepare executive reports, and present accurate forecasts to local and regional leadership
  • Negotiate service agreements and ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective execution across all supply chain activities
Strategic Supply Chain Management
  • Lead the end-to-end supply chain for Indonesia, covering demand forecasting, supply planning, import, warehousing, distribution, and customer fulfilment
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that strengthen product availability, customer service levels, and business continuity
  • Ensure compliance with BPOM, Customs, MOH, GDP standards, and global/regional supply chain policies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, lead-time reduction, process optimisation, and innovation
Demand & Supply Planning
  • Lead and improve the S&OP process, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance
  • Deploy S&OP in-market and enhance demand planning accuracy for both sell-in and sell-out
  • Manage replenishment with SEA-RDC to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing obsolescence
  • Support the commercial team on new product launches, forecasting, phase-in/phase-out management, and promotion planning
  • Monitor key KPIs: Forecast Accuracy, Service Level, Inventory Turns, and Working Capital
Import & Logistics Management
  • Oversee the complete import process, ensuring documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL partners to achieve reliable OTIF performance
  • Lead warehousing and distribution operations in accordance with GDP standards
  • Implement logistics KPIs to track service, cost, and quality performance
Customer Fulfilment
  • Ensure excellent customer service through timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and proactive communication
  • Manage escalations, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions to prevent future disruptions
  • Support key commercial activities including launches, transitions, and promotional cycles
People Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team
  • Set goals, KPIs, and capability development plans
  • Foster a collaborative, high empathy, “family culture” team environment where coaching and motivation are central
Budget, Compliance & Reporting
  • Manage transportation, warehousing, and operational budgets to deliver cost-effective performance
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, BPOM regulations, import requirements, and internal audit standards
  • Present monthly supply chain performance to local and regional leadership
  • Maintain accurate data and reporting in SAP/ERP, Power BI, and planning systems
Candidate Profile
Essential Experience & Skills
  • 7–10 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Production Planning, preferably in pharmaceutical or FMCG
  • Strong expertise in S&OP, demand/supply planning, and end-to-end supply chain operations
  • Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and advanced Excel or Power BI (automation & dashboarding experience preferred)
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and make decisions under pressure
