A leading global consulting firm is seeking a Senior Data Modeler to design and optimize data models that support enterprise systems. This role involves collaborating with teams to meet business requirements for scalable analytics and reporting. We are seeking a Senior Data Modeler with advanced proficiency in data modeling techniques and methodologies. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing data models that enable effective data storage, access, and integration across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business requirements and support scalable, high-performance analytics and reporting.
Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support enterprise applications and business intelligence solutions.
Apply best practices in data modeling methodologies (e.g., ER modeling, dimensional modeling, normalization/denormalization).
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business analysts to ensure models meet business, technical, and performance requirements.
Optimize and maintain data structures for scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
Conduct data analysis, profiling, and mapping to support system integrations and migrations.
Document data models, metadata, and standards to ensure consistency and governance.
Provide guidance on data modeling tools, methodologies, and industry standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
Advanced proficiency in data modeling techniques and methodologies.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data modeling, data architecture, or related fields.
Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, PowerDesigner, SQL Developer Data Modeler, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of relational databases (RDBMS) and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with ETL processes, data governance, and data quality principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery).
Exposure to NoSQL and big data technologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, global environment.
