About the Role

Sales in Midtrans plays an important role to acquire, execute, and maintain partnerships with companies of all sizes and all industries. You will assist the Commercial Department in sales functions, including end-to-end management of finding your own leads, pitching, and closing until the merchant go live. You will be responsible for bringing revenue to the company, and will be measured against how much revenue you can bring to the company.

What You Will Do
  • Acts as a sales hunter and lead point of contact for all account matters, anticipate the client’s needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed,
  • Resolve account issues and complaints whenever they happen
  • Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and periodic initiatives to share with team leaders and peers on a regular basis,
  • Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of engagement, and take the account into the next level by increasing Midtrans’ share in online payments,
  • Develop a strong understanding of the e-commerce and digital commerce market and be the first person that a client calls for escalation,
  • Responsible for administrative duties, such as preparing reports, preparing price quotes, presentations, maintaining and approving the entire agreements and forms.
What You Will Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sales, Communication or related academic area,
  • A minimum of 6-7 years of experience in business management, sales, or project management is mandatory. Prior experience in payment gateway, E-commerce, Merchant Business, Financial Technology companies will be a plus point
  • Understanding of how payments work in Indonesia
  • Fluency in both Bahasa and English is required
  • Ability to negotiate, persuade and influence others,
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and analytical skills,
  • Proficient computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
