The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience in the shipping industry, with a proven track record in management and strategy development. Responsibilities include managing trade performance, executing growth strategies, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. Knowledge of languages such as French, German, Spanish, or Arabic is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years working experience in shipping/forwarding industry, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Strong skills in reporting, analysis, and presentation.
• Fluent in at least one of the following languages: French, German, Spanish, or Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Agency Trade Managers and trade analysts.
• Develop and execute regional trade strategies.
• Identify and explore new business verticals.
• Ensure detailed vessel profiles and allocations are maintained.
• Monitor and fulfill mother vessel allocation weekly.
• Oversee trade reporting and performance tracking.
• Provide structured pricing support.
• Engage with key customers and branch offices.
• Review and consolidate trade forecasts.
• Manage the Dangerous Goods (DG) process.
• Ensure compliance with global trade regulations.
