Atera Water is seeking an execution-driven and hands-on Project Manager based in Jakarta to support the deployment and installation of water treatment projects across Indonesia. This role involves coordinating on-site activities, managing contractors and vendors, overseeing logistics, and supporting commissioning works, while serving as the primary local point of contact between headquarters, project sites, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, engage, and coordinate with local MEP contractors for project execution.
- Arrange and coordinate site surveys with MEP contractors and internal technical teams.
- Support on-site activities to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and technical requirements.
- Work closely with logistics partners, vendors, and site teams to ensure timely and safe delivery.
- Support commissioning activities in coordination with contractors, vendors, and HQ engineering teams.
- Provide regular updates on site progress, risks, and issues to HQ in Singapore and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate water sample collection, delivery, and testing with relevant laboratories.
- Track testing timelines and support communication between vendors, customers and project teams.
- Ensure vendors and contractors comply with safety, environmental, and site regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation related to site activities, contractors, and project milestones.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental / Chemical / Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or with professional experience in water and wastewater engineering. Prior experience in water or wastewater EPC projects is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination or project management within MEP, water treatment, industrial facilities, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with MEP contractors, site coordination, and commissioning activities.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and parallel site activities.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
